Current Camp Projects

Thank you to Bank of the Pacific

We, the members of the board at Camp Kiwanilong, would like to express our sincere gratitude for the assistance that Bank of the Pacific provided us on our annual spring cleanup and project day. It is an annual event but it was very special this year. We came to the Bank of the Pacific with a need to repair two cabins at camp and they came back with a solution. With their connections to the North Coast Building Industries Association, you got them to agree to take on our project as a service to the community. The timing just worked out that they were able to do the work on our scheduled spring event day.

We had thirty-eight volunteers sign our sign up sheet at lunch on Saturday. We have individuals and families to thank for their efforts. We have to thank Builders First Source for providing materials at cost, Keith Keranen for helping out and for $500 to defray material cost. We have to thank NCBIA for providing such talented and dedicated contractors. We have to thank Bigby’s Tree Service and the Society of American Foresters for their expertise and assistance. And we have to thank you, Bank of the Pacific, again for the $1,000 you put up towards the materials for our cabin project.

Like many area non-profits, we only survive with the help of our community. What you did for us this past weekend was so necessary and so appreciated it is hard to put into words. Bob Woodford, this would not have happened without you getting involved and making it happen.
