RANGER- AMY KOCH “RIBBIT”

Amy “Ribbit” Koch joined the team at Camp Kiwanilong as the Ranger in 2014. Originally from Indiana, she began her camp career as a lifeguard at age 15 at Girl Scout Camp Na-Wa-Kwa and went on to become the camp director from 1996-2000. She has three adult children John, Nora, and Katie who grew up at YMCA camps in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Her husband John is a Ranger too, at Fort Stevens State Park. They live in Warrenton, conveniently just a mile from the camp gate. She loves helping out at SYP and is responsible for the operations at camp the rest of the year. Her favorite part is working with all the different groups who rent the facilities to make sure they get the most out of their Camp Kiwanilong experience.

Sprite

Sarah "Sprite" Widmer has been a part of Camp Kiwanilong for 30 years! Her favorite part of being out in the forest is walking around the property watching kids get to play outside and build friendships! In the off-season Sprite is an elementary school teacher with 18 years of experience. She is married with two children known as Dory and Nemo at camp. Camp Kiwanilong is truly where she loves to be!
